US lawmakers will move forward with legislation to address national security worries about TikTok, US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy said on Sunday. The announcement came days after TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew was grilled by lawmakers from both parties over national security and other concerns involving the app, which has over 150 million users in the US.
